Minimal Daily Make-Up

I had some questions on my skin and foundation so I thought I'd do a post on it...Again I'm no beauty guru, I'm just going to show you what I use when I'm in a rush to create my minimal daytime look.

Charlotte xx

Before...

Foundation

Before I start with my routine, I usually moisturise with the Nivea Visage Q10plus spf 15 anti-wrinkle tinted day cream. I only put foundation under my eyes, on my nose, and on my chin. I like a really light, natural looking layer during the day, as it gets pretty hot here in Mallorca and too much build up causes me breakouts. I apply it with the Real Techniques foundation brush.

Concealer

This photo is my foundation with added concealer under my eyes and on my nose. The concealer I use is Rimmel's Match Perfection 2 in 1 Concealer and Highlighter.

Powder

This next photo is foundation, concealer, powder and bronzer. I mix a little bit of my powder and bronzer together as the powder is too light for me when I have a tan, and then buff in using my Real Techniques buffing brush. I use Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder & Natural Bronzer.

Finally...

I use the two lighter shades of this eyeshadow palette from H&M on my lids. Then fill in my brows with a matte brown eyeshadow and this Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil. I then line my eyes with a brown/black eyeliner from Rimmel. I haven't applied any mascara here as I normally only wear mascara for going out out as I hate taking it off haha. I'm also wearing some blusher, and today I used Mac in Modern Mandarin - a lovely orange shade to complement my tan.

  3. You look lovely - the orange blusher really suits you. I definitely couldn't be bothered with a full face of make up if I lived somewhere hot either! xx

    1. yeh it's way too much when it's hot! Plus I like to think having a bit of a tan helps towards it and means you have to use less product
